I have a lynx and it doesnt stall but the power seems to disappear at lower revs.
1. check air cleaner element it could be clogged
2. check and replace if needed spark plugs
3. check and clean fuel filter, its located under the rear seat
4. check ignition high tension wires for any cracks, frayed wires where the electricity arcs or may escape
5. check njection system clogged, or dirty
if none of these work, check with your Ford dealer
Could be many reasons but fuel pump failure is possible.
my 1992 dodge dakota wont stay running it stalls when driving and takes a few minutes to get started but if i wait it will start

while the car is running unhook the negative battery cable. If the car remains running then your alternater is good if it stalls then replace it.
