If your talking about it turning on while you are driving, this is normal. All wheel drive is basically 4-wheel drive that only turns on when you need it to. This happens automatically, and that's why your seeing the light turn on and off
Probably a faulty sensor or connection.
The light that comes on when 4 wheel drive is engaged is not the service light. It is just an indicator light that comes on to let you know the 4 wheel drive is engaged. It will go off when the 4 wheel drive is disengaged.
it might be your drive shaft or transmission going out.
Why does four wheel drive light flash?
why is my service 4 wheel drive light on on my 2008silverado
you probably didnt have it engaged properly. that's happened to me on my friends bronco.
if its a rear wheel drive you could have a u-joint going out.front wheel drive a drive axle going out one of your motor mounts are bad replace it....
The four wheel drive light is most Likely staying on when your Isuzu Rodeo is in two wheel drive because of a bad sensor. A licensed auto technician would be able to replace this for you.
The 4 wheel drive light will do this most often if you try to switch into 4wheel low at a high speed, usually over 35 MPH. 4 wheel low is made mainly for when you are stuck and or when in mud or snow. If the question was for 4 wheel high. Stop the car press the button and it should stay on without blinking. If you suspect that it is not going into 4 wheel high or low. The valve unit that engages the gear may be the problem. Front underside of the transmission, has wires coming out of it.
i have a 95 Chevy astro van.what would cause the all wheel drive to work sometimes but not all the time?
The transmission is the same.
There are literally 100 different things that can cause your four-wheel-drive not to work. The most common cause is a disconnected wire on the four-wheel-drive selector switch.
