A blinking flash drive typically indicates that it is actively transferring data or being accessed by a computer. The light may also blink when the drive is powered on or undergoing a read/write operation. If the light is steadily on, it usually means the drive is connected but not actively being used. If the blinking is erratic or accompanied by issues, it could suggest a problem with the drive or the data being accessed.
