Why does your brake light on your 2004 tracker keep coming on and it just started making a horrible grinding noise what could this be?

The grinding noise is the brakes pads proably the noise is in the front. The front brake pads are easy to replace and is a do it yourself sort of thing. My guess is your brake light is coming on because of this condition. I assume your brake light has been coming on for a little while now.

What is the grinding noise on a megane 2?

It depends on where the grinding noise is coming from. Most of the time the grinding is coming from the brakes and the brake pads need to be replaced. If they've been grinding for a while, the rotors will need to be resurfaced or replaced. Other possibilities for grinding are worn axle bearings, or a problem with the clutch. If the clutch goes out, there will be a grinding noise when you try to shift gears.

What causes a loud clunking noise coming from the back tire of a 2008 Dodge Caliber?

A loud clunking noise from the back tire of a 2008 Dodge Caliber could be caused by several issues, including a worn or damaged suspension component, such as a shock absorber or strut. It may also indicate a problem with the wheel bearings, loose or damaged brake components, or an issue with the rear axle. Additionally, a foreign object lodged in the tire or wheel well might create a clunking sound. It's advisable to have a mechanic inspect the vehicle to diagnose and address the issue.
