Oil level over full or clogged or defective oil filter. Drain the oil and change the filter using a quality filter such as Motorcraft, Purolator, or Wix. Ad the correct amount of oil for your Probe with filter change. More than likely 4.5 quarts. Check your owner's manual to be sure. Can also be coolant in the oil, especially if you are loosing coolant with no apparent leak and the engine is overheating. Can also be a defective oil pressure sending unit or oil pressure gauge.
