It was 1970 - 71 Dodge Challenger commercials. It was Sheriff Joe "JW" Higgins who used that catch-phrase and others whenever he pulled over a Dodge Challenger for being a racing vehicle in the city limits. He never really took to the explanations that the Challenger had many options that were certainly sporty. Check out YouTube for videos of these old commercials.
