On a 2002 Ford Explorer : If you have switched the overdrive off using the switch on the end of your gear selector lever ( P R N etcetera ) then the ( O/D OFF light ) will light up in the upper right area of your gauge cluster It will not shift into overdrive ( which is the " top gear " on your transmission ) until the speed is higher anyway ( such as on the highway / freeway ) and in that case you will see a decrease in the engine RPM on your tachometer My Ford explorer does not shift into overdrive until I'm going around 50 MPH / 80 KPH
Usually an airbag light blinks to signal a problem. The number of blinks tells the driver the code number, which informs the driver of the problem.
It's time to change the oil.

To turn the overdrive on or off in a 2002 Chevy Tracker, locate the overdrive button on the gear shift or dashboard. Press the button to engage or disengage the overdrive; typically, a light on the dashboard will indicate when overdrive is off. If you want to use overdrive for better fuel efficiency during highway driving, ensure it is activated. Always consult the owner's manual for specific instructions related to your vehicle.
