from the top of the rad to the engine from the bottom of the rad to the engine
Yes, but if you don't drain it down below the level of the upper hose coolant will run everywhere when you remove the hose.
Drain the radiator. Leaving the drain plug open, run water from a hose into the radiator and continue to flush until the out coming water is clear.
Remove the bottom radiator hose. the fluid will run out. replace the hose and re fill the radiator at the top, through the radiator cap. run the engine until warm. check the overflow/expansion bottle attached to the radiator cap (The white plastic bottle). top up as required to the full level on the bottle.
Remove the bottom radiator hose. Put a garden hose into the top of the radiator. Allow the garden hose to run until the water coming out of the bottom of the radiator is clear.
Remove the bottom radiator hose. Stick a hose in the top of the radiator. Turn the water on. Allow the water to run through the radiator and out the bottom of the radiator.
Remove the bottom radiator hose on your 1996 Chevy Lumina radiator. Put a water hose in the top of the radiator. Allow the water hose to run until the water draining from the bottom of the radiator runs clear.
1. Open the radiator cap. 2. Disconnect the top radiator hose. 3. Run the engine for a couple of minutes with the hose off. 4. Insert tap water hose into the radiator where the top hose should be. 5. Run water into the radiator until clear water comes out of the radiator top hose. 6. Continue idling the engine, remove the tap water hose from the radiator, shut off engine as soon as the water stops coming out of the top water hose of the radiator. 7. Reconnect top water hose and fill radiator with antifreeze. Start engine and top off antifreeze.
Remove the coolant from your 1997 Chevy Malibu radiator. Remove the bottom radiator hose. Run water through the top of the radiator allowing it to run out the bottom.
To replace the lower radiator hose on a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder, first, ensure the engine is cool and then drain the coolant from the radiator. Remove the hose clamps at both ends of the lower radiator hose and detach the hose from the radiator and engine. Install the new hose by securing it with the clamps, then refill the radiator with coolant and check for leaks. Finally, run the engine to ensure proper circulation and check the hose for any signs of leaking.
take out the hose out of the radiator. then put a hose in the radiator hose, and let the car run with the heat on. it will take about 10 minutes. the coolant will be coming out of the radiator. then once the radiatior is leaking clear, you can put the hose back on, because it is flushed out.
Hillbilly way open the drain plug on bottom of radiator (make shure the vehicle has not been ran before you do this ) open radiator cap put garden hose in it start it let run about 20 min
Drain the radiator by removing the plug on the bottom of the radiator or by removing the lower rad hose. Take the thermostat out which is at the engine end of the upper hose. Start the engine and run water from the garden hose through the radiator letting it flow out the upper rad hose until it is clean. If it has buildup in the radiator you will want ot run some commercial radiator cleaner through it. When it is clean, drain all of the water out and install 2 gallons of coolant and the thermostat.. Dispose of used coolant properly.
