THE engine in the 09 g8 gt is a pretty good piece ...........I owned an 05 CTSV with a LS2 engine with 4 bills vs 360 and there is a difference that being said the V had huge drive train issues and was forced to sell after warranty ran out.......The g8 engine I believe is made is Mexico and feels like the vette engine with a cold .............However plenty of power to get the job done and then some

left bottom side of drivers seat near the seat adjustment controls look where the hood release is, its right in front of it No no no!! There is no release for it.
