Both the 3.1 liter and 3.4 liter (supercharged) engines will fit but if you switch from one to the other the 'PROM' chip in the engine control module has to be swapped out to the correct type for the new motor or it won't run properly; maybe not at all.
Grand Prix's in '93 did not come with superchargers. Supercharged engines were not introduced until the 1997 model year.
