It is sometimes possible (although usually relatively expensive) to have the cluster reprogrammed at a Ford dealership to correct these problems.
this is my own answer,no airbag will be ok, the only problem is you have to reprogram instrument cluster and ford are the only one that can do this at a cost of £119.00+ vat.
