I drive a 1998 Dodge RAM 1500 Quad Cab with the 5.9L engine. For the 1998 Dodge RAM 1500 (gas powered) fuse 11 in the fuse panel on the left side of the instrument panel supplies power to the purge valve. When you open the driver's side door you will see a small cover ( approx 6 x 6) in the side of the instrument panel. Pull the cover open and the fuse in question should be the last one on the top right .. the one that is hard to get to. Inside the fuse cover door there is a diagram of fuse locations. This fuse is only powered when the ingition switch is in ON or Run position. NOTE the position and number of this fuse changed on the 1998 model .. it is not the same as the fuse on the 1997 RAM. Hope this helps.

Trouble code P0443 means:Evaporative emission control system purge control valve circuit malfunction
The code P04515 indicates a purge flow fault in the evaporative emission control system of a 2003 Dodge Neon. This typically means there is an issue with the purge valve, which is responsible for allowing fuel vapors from the charcoal canister into the engine for combustion. Possible causes include a faulty purge valve, a clogged or damaged evaporative system, or leaks in the hoses and connections. Addressing this issue is important to ensure proper emissions control and vehicle performance.
The purge control valve is located behind the rear wheel that is on the same side as the gas tank. By simplysliding under the bumper one can view the canister and the valve.
Means flow when purge not commanded. Bad or stuck purge valve Broken damaged or leaking vapor control system Bad purge control solenoid.
To replace the purge valve in a 2003 Dodge Neon, first, disconnect the negative battery terminal. Locate the purge valve, which is typically found near the engine, connected to the intake manifold and the evaporative emissions system. Remove the electrical connector and the hoses attached to the valve, then unbolt it from its mounting position. Install the new purge valve by reversing the removal steps, ensuring all connections are secure before reconnecting the battery.
If it is the valve on top of the fuel tank, it weel need to be replaced.
