What if a Chevy Silverado will not start even after changing the fuel pump on a fuel injected engine?

Whenever you change the pump, you shoudl change the filter too. Typically, the filter will be (at least partially) blocked, reducing the fuel's PSI to the engine. This is the next step. check fuel pressure. if you look in a haynes or a chiltons you should find the pressure your system needs to be running. I had the same problem, I changed the pump and it worked for a while like a week, I lost fuel pressure even though my pump was working. I ended up having to change the fuel pressure regulator. you might try that, make sure you fully trouble shoot before you start just taking stuff apart, it's usually always easier than what we think it is!
