Look under dash by brake pedal. There is a white sticker located next to the fuse box, it has 5 digits on it thats the code. my sticker was white it with a green and blue dot.

I believe that is the Mazda M50D-R1 ( transmission code " M " on the information sticker on the end of the drivers door )
I have heard that it is on a sticker on the radio or in the glove box.
If you open the drivers door there should be an information sticker on the latch pillar Under " TR "or " TRANS " , I believe code " D " is the 5R55E and code " T " is the 4R55E
