Constant Control Relay Module
the ac relay is a relay inside the CCRM. The CCRM is located directly beneath the air filter housing. The mounting bracket which retains the air filter housing also retains the CCRM
The fan relays (low and high speed) and the air conditioning relay are part of the Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM). The CCRM is located in the right fenderwell, remove the right inner splash shield for access to the CCRM. Were the hell is it
The CCRM has many relays on it: AC, Fan, Injectors, Fuel Pump , so the CCRM doesnt fail as a "unit" but one or more relays inside could fail. I had the Fan relay failed on mine, opened it and replaced with a new relay (found at specialty electronics shop). But the dealer will replace the whole CCRM even if only one relay fails.
CCRM stands for Constant Control Relay Module in a 1997 Mustang GT. It is an essential component of the vehicle's electrical system, responsible for managing various functions such as fuel pump operation, cooling fan control, and other relay functions. If the CCRM fails, it can lead to issues such as starting problems or electrical malfunctions. Proper diagnosis and replacement of the CCRM may be necessary to restore the vehicle's functionality.

1998 FORD RANGER, WHERE IS THE CCRM LOCATED??? Open the hood. Look on one of the fenders above the wheel well. I have a 4x4 with the 3.0 v6 and my CCRM is on the driver's side. It's located directly beside the brake booster and has "power distribution" written on it. There will be a plastic latch to flip it open on one side as well.

The Central Control Relay Module (CCRM) in a Ford Windstar is typically located in the engine compartment, mounted on the driver's side near the battery. It is usually housed in a plastic box or cover and can be accessed by removing the cover. The CCRM plays a crucial role in controlling various electrical functions, including the fuel pump and the engine cooling fan.
Engine temp sensor sends signal to ECM ECM sends a signal to the CCRM (sealed box of relays under the air filter housing) CCRM is wired to the Fan. Hi and lo relays are inside box. Check fuses for ECM and Cooling Fan too. Google "CCRM" and "Escort" a few topics will pop up.
The CCRM on a 96 Sable is attached to the left side (drivers side) of the battery tray. Undo the spring clamp to remove the CCRM from the tray. The electrical harness on the CCRM is short. If you need to remove the harness, first remove the battery, then remove the battery tray, then you will have room to rotate the connector to expose the 5mm nut that you must loosen to remove the harness connector.
