4l80e
Powerglide, Th350, Th400, or a muncie 4 speed.
No, all of the TH400's were 3 speed.
Either a 2-speed Powerglide or 3-speed TH400. A (very) small handful had a 4-speed manual.
There are 4 different options for the type of transmission that came in a 1988 K5 Blazer. They are the 4 speed SM465 manual, the 3 speed TH350 automatic, the 3 speed TH400 automatic and the 4 speed 700R4 automatic.
they are not maintenance adjustable on the th400

Most likey its the TH400. If it has 4 speeds, its the 700R4 (w/overdrive)
as long as it is a chevy bolt pattern th400
no
same bolt pattern if the 4l60e was behind a v8 or 4.3and the th400 was from a chevy and not a (bpo or caddy )
you can do it and use only 4 of the bolts but they are not the same and you will not have much for strength doing it that way.
That is the wire that actuates the kick down solenoid. The th400 has an electric kick down solenoid and no cable like the th350
