My 2000 Grand Prix would have a low-speed knocking noise coming from the drivers side as the CV axle was failing. The loss of lubrication in the CV Boots allows the joint to make a knocking/tapping sound at a low speed. If the knocking is coming from the engine compartment, then it could be an entirely different problem.
Having a bad rod bearing could cause a truck to make a loud knocking noise and shake when driving at high speeds. The engine having a coolant leak or an engine timing problem could also cause the knocking noise.
the cause of this is probably a bad u joint
check CV joints

A hole in the muffler would cause a knocking sound in your muffler. A loose exhaust pipe can also cause a knocking noise.
Whistling at low speeds tends to indicate worn wheel bearings.
It's a little vague, but check your u-joints, that would cause a sound when driving.
The top speed of the Pontiac Grand Am GT with the 3400 V6 is approximately 130mph. However, the Grand Am GT shares the same transmission with the 4-cylinder models, and sustaining these speeds will quickly cause permanent damage to internal transmission components. Furthermore, driving at such speeds on public roads is illegal, irresponsible, and can result in incarceration and forfeiture of your vehicle. Also, injuring someone as the result of negligence carries mandatory prison sentences in many states.
I read that bad motor mounts can cause this knocking sound
u knocking on it
Some things that can cause a car to stall while driving it include a bad fuel pump, running out of gas, and low fuel pressure. A clogged catalytic converter can also cause this to happen.
the problem may be that the timing chain or belt has broken
