What engine casting number is 14010207
What Chevy engine block has the castin I mean casting number 397004
What Chevy engine has the casting number 3970011?
There are casting shapes on the front of the head, but, without experience, this can be tricky. Best way is to pull off a valve cover, and check the number. You will see a big long GM number. The last three numbers, are the casting numbers. 461, and 462, are 1:94, small chamber. 186, and 041, are the same, but made later with alternator brackets, for mounting alt., ect. 441, is the same, but with larger chamber, to lower compression. The last one I do not remember the number, but, the front has a triangle on it. 1:70 intake, larger chamber, smog head. Useless.

What year and size engine has casting number B1378704E
The Chevy engine with that casting number was made in 1993.
Casting number 8796896 corresponds to a set of cylinder heads primarily used in GM's small-block V8 engines, particularly those from the late 1970s to early 1980s. These heads are typically found on 305 and 350 cubic inch engines and are known for their relatively low performance characteristics compared to other heads from that era. They feature a small combustion chamber, which contributes to lower compression ratios. Overall, they are often considered less desirable for high-performance applications.
