Follow the top radiator hose to the thermostat.
Depending on the climate where you live depends on the termostat however, i recomend a 190 for all propurse appilacation
Could be low coolant level, faulty thermostat, or faulty temperature sensor. Check coolant first.
There are two temperature sensors. One is under the #6 intake and sends signals to the temperature gauge. The second one is in the thermostat housing and signals the ecm module.
It's on top. The one for the computer is on the side. The Haynes manual (page 3-6) has actually reversed them.
The spring goes towards the engine and if there is a vent hole , the thermostat is installed with the vent hole at the top if the thermostat is installed vertically
assuming it is a 5.0 L it is located on front side of motor just left of thermostat housing however it can also be found in the back of engine located in the supply line to heater core more than likely beside thermostat
