The cost to replace the Body Control Module (BCM) in a Buick Rendezvous typically ranges from $300 to $800, depending on factors like labor costs, location, and whether you choose an OEM or aftermarket part. Labor can account for a significant portion of the cost, as the BCM may need to be reprogrammed after installation. It's advisable to get quotes from multiple mechanics to ensure you receive a fair price.
will the dash lights work if we use a bcm out of a different 2002 buick rendezvousand put it in my 2002 buick rendezvous
To replace the body control module (BCM) on a 2002 Buick Rendezvous, first disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical shorts. Locate the BCM, which is typically found under the dashboard or near the fuse box. Remove the screws or bolts securing the BCM, disconnect the wiring harness, and then install the new module by reversing the process. Finally, reconnect the battery and ensure that any necessary programming is completed for the new BCM to function properly.
The ECU/BCM on the 2002 Buick Rendezvous CX is located underneath the Driverside seat.

might be a bad fuel sender unit or BCM
turn the ignition key on
You can't fix the BCM you have to replace it, then it needs to be programed and the anti-theft needs to be reprogramed also. Most places won't be able to do this, you'll have to take it to a dealer.
I had to have my bcm replaced. I was told that it was due to car being jumpstarted which is another issue. I had to take it to the dealer with a cost of replacement being $600
