Well the copo camaro was equipped with a 427 cubic inch engine. The corporate office production order camaro was the only way that Chevrolet could bypass their own rule - to not have a 400 cubic inch motor in a factory car. Some were supposed to run in the 11's and could easily reach 500 HP with bolt-ons and tuning. There was also only about 1000 made. The SS was the higher production and more known at the time for sure. The SS was equipped with either a 350 with 300 HP or a 396 rated at 325 350 or 375 HP and some had aluminum heads. There are several other differences between the two but engines are the most fun to talk about.
