The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited has been one of the powerhouse off-road performers in the Jeep's line-up. Just like its sibling Patriot, the Wrangler Unlimited has enough power and the boxy tinge in its exterior body style.
As far as a powerhouse, I would put go up against any JK with the new 3.8 V-6 with my 2004 Sahra with the old, reliable 4.0l I-6 any day!! The I-6 has way more power, gets just as good of gas mileage and has the interior of a Jeep!!!
The Unlimited is simply the four door version of the Wrangler. It has no relation to the Patriot. **this depends on the year of the unlimted. Older unlimiteds like an 05 or 06 still have the 4.0l 6cyl engine like previous jeeps. The older ones also came in 2 doors and different packages like rubicon. These vehicles have the extended wheelbase, and cargo capacity. They also have the upgraded rear axsle that comes in the rubicon package. After 07 they changed to the engine and advantages listed above**
The Wrangler Unlimited 2 door was only made between 2004-2006.
no
The Jeep Wrangler replaced the CJ5 in 1987.
The main difference between Wrangler Sport versus X is that the Wrangler Sport has full doors. The X has half doors.
The difference between them is about $5,000.00 and some bling they are both wranglers. Captain911
Trim package
i was wondering what the difference is between the Jeep Wrangler and the Jeep Rubicon A: Sahara is a wrangler trim package (it's the same vehicle) A:Rubicon is a wrangler with significant upgrades. air locking differentials, suspension lift, tires and wheels, etc.
Taller springs and shocks
Not much difference between the two, the year between them pretty much equals the difference out. If there is a difference in motors it may make a difference but I would say they are even.
nope, they are the same body tub and the same "CJ style" roll bar
An XJ is a Cherokee, a TJ is a Wrangler.
The Wrangler X is a trim model below the Sport. Wrangler, X, Sport, Sahara, <insert specialty trim package here> i.e. Golden Eagle The Sport typically came with both soft and hard top, some Sahara available options and other minor trim differences.
