Check the U joints. answer opping sound indicates a dry u joint if its not to late , grease the joint if that doesnt fix it, replace the u joint

The answer, simply no. A joint's function is to move - if it were unable to, then it would not be a joint.
It could be from a worn out U-Joint on the drive shaft or it could be one or both of the rear wheels are out of balance.
