Take any early model cars to a qualified mechanic and have it replaced with R-134a. You can buy a R-134a kit at any parts store and do it yourself. NOTE: Never add more than two cans at home. If the system is still not getting cold (30-40 degrees cooler than outside ambient) it should be taken to a repair shop for proper service and repair.
