According to the 2003 Ford Expedition Owner Guide :
For the 4R70W automatic transmission ( 13.1 liters / 13.9 quarts )
That of course would be for the entire system , converter , lines , etc.

I was looking at the 1997 Ford Expedition Owner Guide and it shows Motorcraft MERCON automatic transmission fluid for the two models of automatic transmission ( E4OD with the 5.4 liter ) I would also check to see if the type of fluid is engraved into the automatic transmission fluid dipstick
The 1994 Plymouth Duster transmission has a capacity of 12 quarts of fluid. The manufacturer recommends that the transmission is never overfill.
Automatic AP
The fluid capacity of a 1993 Jeep Wrangler with a 4.0-liter engine and an automatic transmission is approximately 12 quarts when including the torque converter. It's important to check the owner's manual for specific recommendations and to verify the fluid level after a transmission service, as the total capacity can vary slightly based on the specific transmission model and any modifications.
9 quarts total.
Check owner's manual. If you don't have one copy and paste link below; www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals
