I've got a 1962 c10 step side short bed with a 350, a 4-speed stick, no Power Steering, no a/c. With me in it the truck weighed 3860 lbs so in other words 3680 lbs with about a 1/4 tank and no driver. A c20 would probably add about 500-800 pounds in additional frame weight, heavier rear end and suspension. A k series (4x4) would probably add a solid 300-400 pound in the additional drive-shaft, transfer case and front axle.
So depending on tranny, motor, accessories etc.
c10 3600-3800 pounds
k10 3900-4200 pounds
c20 4100-4400 pounds
k20 4400-4700 pounds
what is the weight and length of a 1970 chevy shortbed truck?
1900pounds
3650
