Standard 10w-30 motor oil goes into a 92 Buick Skylark. It has a capacity of 4.5 quarts of oil for the four cylinder model.
Try some 10w40.
It takes 5w30. Use synthetic blend.
I like the 3.1 V-6. It has enough power for this car.
I've got a '92 skylark, and had a problem with the brake lights staying on even after the car was off. There is an adjustment that is connected to the brake pedal that you can adjust the tension on. It's kind of a pain to get up under there unless you're skinny though.

What kind of engine is it? I know that Chilton's and Haines manuals have the procedure. You should be able to find them at Amazon or Ebay.
The 1991 Buick Park Avenue is equipped with disc brakes in the front. These disc brakes work by having brake pads squeeze against a rotor attached to the wheel hub to slow down or stop the vehicle.
Maybe use some kind of siphon pump... It would be a complete mess trying to remove the transmission oil pan. Or maybe just go in and get a fluid change.
Buy a new oil sending unit and the socket that fits it. The auto parts store should carry both. It's a special socket.
