i belive its r12 ... but just get a retrofit kit so u can make it a r134a

A340E is the transmission for the 86.5 thru 92 Toyota supra. I think its still in production in a different Toyota model

Unfortunately, a 1997 Toyota Supra engine and trans would not fit into a 1990 Mazda Miata. The Supra engine and transmission are unable to be mounted correctly within a Miata to make them fit.

Everything takes a different form of Freon. Drain the system if it has not been so prior then add R134a Freon into the coolant system.
The 1990 Toyota speed sensor is located on the back of the transmission. There also is a speed sensor on the front passenger wheel.
On a 1990 Toyota Supra, the Engine Control Unit (ECU) is typically located behind the glove compartment. To access it, you may need to remove the glove box and some trim pieces. The ECU is usually mounted on the passenger side of the vehicle, near the center console.
