In the front passenger footwell BEHIND the kick panel according to the 1997 Ford Explorer Owner Guide . On my 1995 Ford Explorer it is BY the kick panel in the front passenger footwell , just above the carpet in the corner

The transfer case makes it 4x4 not the transmission. As long as the trannys are the same should work

Problem in the transfer case
on my 1995 Ford Explorer, the fuel pump inertia switch is in the right front passenger area. It is below the dash, but right above the carpeted floor in the right hand corner.
I have a 2004 Ford Explorer and the heat does not work, but when i try to turn the control valve to heat it makes a clicking noise. How do i fix it?
