I can't offer scientific data but I have owned all three of the top minivans, the Dodge Caravan, Toyota Sienna and Honda Odyssey. Clearly the last place is the Caravan - I would not purchase another American made car again - between quality (and number of problems) and depreciation far below Honda and Toyota. As for the Sienna and Odyssey, they are both very different feels - you should definitely drive both. But my experience with both of these brands on minivans and other vehicles gives Honda the edge. Our Sienna, which is loaded, has had to be brought in many times for various fixes. Additionally, tires last only 20k. My Honda's never need to go be repaired! I suspect that if you got a Sienna with all the bells and whistles, it would be less troublesome.
