For the 1997 Oldsmobile LSS, the spark plug wire order is typically 1-3-5-7 on the driver's side and 2-4-6-8 on the passenger's side. The firing order for the engine is 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8. Make sure to confirm the specific engine configuration, as wiring can vary slightly with different engine options. Always refer to a repair manual for the most accurate information for your vehicle.
how do you know what wires to connect on your spark plugs example1-6 2-5 3-4 and how do you know which spark plug is 1 2 3
don't have my manuel how many spark plugs are there in a 1997 cutlass supreme oldsmobile. need to change them all v6 engine. what is the best brand to buy thank you
1 in each cylinder...........
My 1997 is located on the drivers side engine block towards the back above spark plugs it threads into engine and has 2 wires coming out
1 3 4 2 i believe this is the order, if any question let me know.
The firing order should be stamped onto the engine block at some location, or on the stickers at the front of the hood.
To much resistance in the spark plug wires, replace the spark plug wires.
There is no spark plug wires on the 2.4L twin cam engine, the spark plugs are located right underneath the top cover on the head
Do one wire at a time so as not to mix up the firing order.
Very carefully :)
On a 1997 Oldsmobile Achieva SL, the spark plugs are located on the engine, beneath the ignition coils. To access them, you typically need to remove the engine cover and the ignition coil pack, which sits directly above the spark plugs. The spark plugs themselves are threaded into the cylinder head and can be accessed once the ignition coils are removed.
In a 1997 Ford Ranger : The 2.3 liter four cylinder with Fords twin plug ignition system has ( 2 coil packs ) and ( 8 ) spark plug wires for the eight sparkplugs The 3.0 liter and the 4.0 liter V6 engines have ( 1 coil pack ) and ( 6 ) spark plug wires for the six spark plugs
