Not many....and most aren't worth the trouble. The problem is the 2.8 intake plenum port size and design and the heads. They just aren't designed to flow much more than they already do. You can do the usual.....good free flowing exhaust, air filter, computer chip, and maybe an aftermarket cam. But to be honest, if you did all of it you'd be lucky to pick up 50HP. And I'd say that's the upper end. Don't get me wrong...I have a '92 3.1 Sunbird. I love the engine but it's just not the best design for improvements. You might try swapping out a newer 3.4 Camaro V6. You'll pick up some power there. If it's anything like swapping a 3.4 in mine there will be some mods you'll need to make. Primarily EGR adapter, fuel injectors, programming.
