I've had past experience in my past and still am growing. During the start of my middle school year was when I started to grow. I was 4'9 in grade 6 and 5'2 in grade 8. By the end of grade 8 I realised I wanted to be taller, so I ate real healthy and ate a lot too. At the start of high school, I was 5'3, now starting grade 11, I'm 5'7. So I'm growing at and average of 2'' per year. Now if I had more sleep, I would most likely be taller.
