The size of the socket needed for the drain plug on a Ford F-150 typically varies depending on the model year and engine type, but it is commonly a 3/8-inch or 1/2-inch drive socket. For some models, a 10 mm or 13 mm socket may also be required. It's best to consult the owner's manual or a repair guide for the specific year of your F-150 to confirm the exact size.

there is no drain plug.just remove bottom radiator hose
It has to be very near the bottom of the radiator.
There probably is no drain plug,I'm assuming this is an automatic.Just remove most of the bolts, leave a few in loose and drain it on one corner.
drain plug is on the bottom of the oil pan. IF not on the horizontal, it will be on the side of the oil pan right at the bottom
its probably like every other automatic tranny and the answer is there is no drain plug! you have to take off the bottom pan.
Look at the rear or side of the oil pan
look on the lower inside corner of the radiator
If it is a auto trans and there is no drain plug, you have to drop the pan, and change the filter and gasket while you at it. If it is a manual, there is a plug on the lower passenger side of the transmission body. pull it and the fluid will drain.
The transmission fluid in a 1993 Ford F-150 is changed by placing a drain pan under the vehicle and removing the drain plug. Once drained, the plug is installed and the appropriate amount of fluid is added.
