If it's the same as the 2000 it looks relatively simple. Remove the plastic trunk liner by hand and then use a socket wrench (7/16" socket- most likely) and remove 4 nuts- It should then wiggle free.
Sears sells a special socket to remove rusted, stripped and broken nuts.
from the inside of the door, there is a trim piece on the inside near the mirror, its triangle shaped, that is held in with a plastic "push-in" clip, remove that panel, and the nuts for the mirror bolts will be accessable with a ratchet and socket
Open the trunk and remove the nuts holding the assembly in place. With nuts removed the tail light assembly will come out the back then you can remove the light socket to replace the bulb.
have you tried taping two screwdrivers together
21mm socket and breaker bar to remove lug nuts, and a 17mm socket to remove the two caliper bracket bolts, and a 14mm socket or wrench to remove caliper from bracket. you will also need a c-clamp to shove caliper back.
once you remove the retaining tabs off of the washer that are covering the nuts, it takes a 34MM DEEP SOCKET
* Remove the rear inside trunk finishing panel to access the taillight housing mounting nuts * Free the grommet for the taillight electrical harness and the three taillight housing nuts then pull off the taillight housing * Rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise and pull it out of the taillight housing * To remove the bulb from the socket pull it straight out.To install a new bulb in the socket push it straight into the socket until it stops
