If its an auto it's a 4l60e and if it's a manual it's probably a nv3500
It is built in to the alternator.
No.
It will fit but it will not work. The 94 transmission is computer controlled and the 88 truck does not have the right computer or transmission wiring harness in it.
Your 94 S-10 doesn't have a timing belt.
The abs brakes on the back of a 94 S10 are designed to help slow the truck down quickly. Without abs, the brakes can lock up and the truck could slide uncontrollably.
no sir
A manual can; an automatic will not, as the 94 transmission will be electronically controlled, whereas the 86 would be mechanically controlled.
Where is the tcm in a 1994 chevy S10 Blazer
YES as long as the 94 is a 3/4 ton. If your 94 is a 1/2 ton then it MUST have the 4L60E transmission put in it.
Yes it will fit. But here's your problem. The 94 transmission is a electronic controlled and the 88 truck doe's not have the wiring harness are computer system to operate the 94 transmission. Now I'm sure that someone out there sells an after market computer system that you can buy and install on that 88 truck to make the 94 transmission work. MONEY MONEY MONEY. I would put a 700R4 in it.
Try your local auto wrecking yards.
It's underneath the truck. It leads from the transmission to the diferential
