If it is an automatic transmission then you would have to remove the transmission fuid pan and it is the first thing you will see in there. I would also recommend that you drain the fuid first... but I would also recommend that you take it to a trained professional to do. You need to keep the inner workings of your transmission clean.
Locate the Break fuid reservoir remove the lid Fill with the fluid type identified in you manual to the line on the side - Do not go over the line. replace the lid
20 pints
224 US fluid ounces = 6.62447 liters.
it needs Nissanmatic C fuid for 89-94
Yes!!! The altitude and depth cause the fuid to change.
1 gallon = 128 fluid ounces
Because the pressure increases.
8 ounces is 1 cup.
The res for the brake fluid is on the driver's side in the engine bay.It is connected to the brake booster (the large "can" mounted to the firewall) it sticks out of the middle and has a cap with wires coming out of it from the float inside that tells your car to turn on the Brake light when it is getting low. It is slightly elongated with marks to indicate how full or empty. If you are losing a lot of fluid, be sure to look around each tire for signs that it the wheel cylinders for the brakes aren't leaking fuid. They can go bad and you will see a dribble where the fluid is lost. (inside of wheel, not outside)Aunt
Low transmission fuid level Transmission filter plugged? Transmission needs rebuild?
There isn't one. The transmission fluid must be checked at a dealership (or independent that has the "special tool"), supposedly to keep people from overfilling the tranny which could cause damage and/or perfomance problems. The dealer will access/measure the fuid level through the tube with a cap that says "for dealer use only", located near the firewall, left of center.
