Blown fuse?
more than likely you have a blown fuse in the fusebox for the power windows.
Yes Yes
Yes what do I do
The 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass power window wiring diagram can be found in most service manuals. The wiring diagram can be obtained from most General Motors dealerships.
what are the windows doing? New answer-Source of any electrical problem is fairly easy once you know the basics. Fuse, power, and device. Since you indicate "driver's side" window, the other windows evidently "work." Fuse, "OK." Power, "OK." Problem? Lays in the door and will have to be inspected to see if motor is jammed, channel glass guide jam or motor simply no good. To get to the motor refer to the answer I gave another person with the same problem.
I have a 1992 Olds Cutlass Cierra and I had the same problem. What you do is remove the two screws holding on the panel that houses the power window switches and re-solder the wire or wires that have broke apart. Apparently these wires seem to break over time and this is a fairly common problem. If all the windows are not working then it may take some guess work but for me it was only one window. NEW: I have a 1990 Oldsmobile cutlass cierra wagon. In the fuse box in the glove box (on mine at least) is a 30 amp 12 v circuit breaker for my power windows(replacement is about $4.00 at auto parts store). Check your owners manual to see which one is for windows as mine has 2 30 amp breakers. This might be your problem if all 4 windows are not working. It was mine. If it is only one window then the wire wearing out trick is probabally right. But check to make sure it does not blow again and if so you may have a short...I had that once too. If you need a new motor for all 4 windows (hope not) but I had checked at O'Rileys Auto Parts before I found my real problem and they could order it for about $65.00 pre-paid. Good Luck...klites1956
Assuming you're referring to the 4-door sedan model, the rear windows were fixed in place on that bodystyle (1978-87) - hence their being no crank to wind them down.
IT COULD BE A NUMBER OF THINGS.... IE.... ELECTRICAL SHORT IN THE MOTOR, WIRING, OR BUTTONS. TAKE IT TO A SHOP TO FIGURE IT OUT, OTHERWISE YOU WILL SPEND MORE MONEY TRYING TO REPLACE PART AFTER PART IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO WORK ON ELECTRICAL STUFF ON VEHICLES.
It's in the fusebox but you will need the owners manual to find out what slot it's in, other than that you will have to check each fuse in the box to see which one is blown.
where is the fuse and relay for the power windows on a 2002 Oldsmobile alero
If you haven't already found out, Supreme Commander is strictly a windows game. (unless you have a windows Mac mix)
Most of the relays for the 1997 Oldsmobile Aurora are under the back seat on the drivers side.
