This car is equiped with a security feature sometimes which will sense auto-theft and when power supply is removed, it goes goffy and will in turn shut down the starter and fuel system in the vehicle. I need help finding out how to restart the vehicle after this happens!!
New AnswerMine did the same thing. Just had the starter replaced and then all of a sudden it wouldn't start. My mechanic called it the neutral safety switch. There is a part you can get to fix it but I also know of a way to start the darn thing until you get the part. Throw it into neutral ( keeping the brake pressed firmly of course) and it should start or at least it works with mine.Hope this info helps!Dead battery, defective starter or ignition switch. Loose connection.
check neutral safety switch, or it is possible that a bad ignition switch could cause this...or loose or broken wiring!!
Make Sure your battery full charged sometimes the battery might be low or bad and it is not give it the spark it need to turn over what you can do is get under the car find the starter and the to nuts hodlind the starter you can hit them with a hammer gentlely and have someone hold the ignition in the start position and that usally will cause it to turn over if not then you need a new starter I have a 94 Chevy Lumina euro and it did the same thing
A bad battery terminal(s) connection, bad ground, bad ignition switch, bad starter.
A starter solenoid can be bypassed by connecting a jumper wire between the battery and ignition posts on the starter. This will cause it to spin immediately without using the ignition switch.
A starter will not disengage if the ignition switch is stuck or if the solenoid has jammed. This will cause the starter to constantly receive power.
Probably a stuck solenoid.
bad starter or bad connection to starter or bad ground on battery or starter
A BAD CRANK SENSOR WILL CAUSE NO SPARK AND NO PULSE SIGNAL TO FUEL INJECTORS a bad ignition module will cause no spark its located under the ignition coil trio pack
the starter may not be good or the connection on the starter may be loose
Could be a number of things, but its definitely an electrical problem. Most likely a bad connection from starter motor to battery. Check all leads. Could be a bad ground connection. Could also be the ignition switch.
check the connection where the battery plugs into the under hood fuse block check the connection at the starter and check your ignition switch,(im not sure what you mean by electronics everything including engine or just the radio and stuff)
