Check the air filter, fuel injectors, EGR valve and temperature sensor.
Usually oxygen sensors are what would be screwed into the exhaust manifold.Usually oxygen sensors are what would be screwed into the exhaust manifold.
Of course not. They are screwed into the exhaust system and can be easily replaced.
O2 sensors are always located on the exhaust system.O2 sensors are always located on the exhaust system.

There are 3 temp sensors and 2 oxygen sensors in the exhaust. You need to ask a new question and be more specific. There are 3 temp sensors and 2 oxygen sensors in the exhaust. You need to ask a new question and be more specific.
all o2 sensors are on the exhaust manifold pipe. That is the exhaust pipe from your engine.
Oxygen sensors are located in the exhaust manifolds & in the exhaust pipes on most vehicles
oxygen sensors are part of the exhaust system
The O2 sensors are screwed into the exhaust system. Follow the exhaust backward from the engine and you will find the sensors.
There are many sensors on the Catera. The exhaust has two on each exhaust pipe. There are many more in other parts of the engine.
There are sensors all over the engine and transmission. There are also sensors at the wheel bearings and in the exhaust. There are sensors all over the engine and transmission. There are also sensors at the wheel bearings and in the exhaust.
You need to find out what is killing the O2 sensors. I suspect it is running rich, or is leaking coolant into the combustion chamber. Have the computer scanned for codes. If you are having to add coolant, suspect a blown head gasket. Plugged Cat on the exhaust!
