What would make ignition coil number 5 not fire on Lincoln Mark VIII when spark plugs and ignition coil have already been changed?
The PCM in your car provides the ground for the individual cylinders to fire, so if you have new wires, coils and plugs then I would say you have a bad internal ground inside of your PCM not allowing #5 to fire. It works the same way for your fuel injectors, the PCM provides the ground for each individual fuel injector to fire.
