Check your fuse for tail lights. I think the dash and tail lights are on the same fuse so you know when your tail lights don't work. Might have a short or an open in that circuit.
Then go to a professional and have them look at it. Or your headlights and taillights light bulb thing is blown out. Either way you should go to a professional or have them come to you and DON'T DRIVE YOUR CAR!:0)
Possible ground issue at the taillights.
move the wiper connection around while somebody presses on the brake if brake lights come on replace circuit board to wipers my 94 chevy 4x4 did that found by accident 3yrs later was about to trash the truck
Do parking and dash lights work? If not, may be fuse most vehicles it is the same circuit
Check the fuses
If you lift up the tailgate there are two screws that hold the taillight into place. If you unscrew those, the taillight will come off of the truck.
The covers do not come off. The bulbs are removed from the back side of the housing. For the headlights, pop the hood and look down in behind the headlights For taillights, open the trunk and you will see access panels that you need to remove to get to the bulbs.
I was told by the Jeep Dealer tonight that you have to remove the tires/wheels and pop it out from the back.
You will have to buy a harness from the Dodge dealer that will let the trailer lights work without messing with the computer that runs the taillights on the truck. The kit will have the harness and instructions. If you hard wire the trailer into the truck taillights the "lamp out" light will come on on the dash and the turnsignals will flash fast.
Theres a fuse, called DRL, if that's missing or blown, or if the parking brake is depressed a tiny bit, they wont come on.
the starter, battery and the alternator are good, icheck and change the the wires but the light inside the dashboard, the headlights come on but the truck will not start.
Whatever controls the relay must be broken, if everything beyond the relay works.
