You have a flat battery.
Answer: Most likely battery (you probably surmised this already), however, it could also be a faulty ignition switch or poor connection at the starter or starter module/relay. When the key is turned, do the instrument cluster warning lights come on (& dim slightly)? If so, its not the battery.
Try pressing the emergency brake pedal one click to turn off Daytime running lights - Works in my 97
You probably turned them on by accident. They are controlled with the same pull switch that turns on the headlights. By twisting the switch to the far left it will click and the dome lights will turn on, by twisting it to the right it will turn off the interior lights and will then dim the dashboard lights.
While the Rav4 is turned off, pull the emergency brake up one click and then start it up. This will leave the running lights off and the emergency brake will not be engaged when it is pulled up only one click.
You have to go to the HQ and talk to G to tell you where to get the flashlight. The flashlight is by the books on G's desk. After you have done that you have go to the NIGHTCLUB and click it in your inventory. Then you have turned the lights on!
With the key turned on ( not started ), click your parking lights on 3 times
the loud click happens when you dont have a good connection at the starter you are grounded off somewhere down by the starter
I have a 2002 Grand Prix and mine does this sometimes and I have to wiggle my battery cables and it will start right up but it could also be caused by a bad ignition or fly wheel I had a 93 Grand Prix that did the same thing. Problem was caused by a tumbler in the ignition switch being out of alignment; that would not allow the starter to receive power.
Someone tells me this could be to do with the starter motor
you click on the lights and they will turn on.
From the information given, it is impossible to make a guess. Is it an 'electrical' click or a 'mechanical' click? Where is the "click"noise coming from? The engine compartment? the dashboard area? The ignition switch? the tapep player/radio? More info is needed.
its by the fuse panel....in the drivers kick panel..for sure but im not exactly sure which of the three that are down there it is. It should "click" when the ignition is turned on unless of course it is not working.
