If you are talking about the coolant temperature switch that turns the fan on when the coolant reaches the right temperature, then mine it is located in the bottom of the radiator directly under the fan.
On my 1984 CRX the dipstick is underneath the battery. I had to take the battery out to check it.
To flush the radiator on an '89 Honda CRX, start by ensuring the engine is cool and then place a drain pan underneath the radiator. Open the radiator drain valve or remove the lower radiator hose to drain the old coolant. Next, fill the radiator with a mixture of water and a radiator flush solution, run the engine for about 10-15 minutes, then drain again. Finally, refill the radiator with fresh coolant and check for leaks.
To remove the radiator from a 1990 Honda CRX, first ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Drain the coolant by opening the petcock at the bottom of the radiator, then remove the upper and lower radiator hoses. Next, detach any mounting bolts or brackets securing the radiator, and carefully lift it out of the engine bay. Remember to also disconnect the fan assembly if it’s attached to the radiator.
Honda CRX was built from Honda Civic platform and shared many components with the Civic. All Honda CRX models have a mechanical fuel pump that can be easily located within the engine bay, making fuel-pump replacement much easier than on some newer cars.?æ
Should be beside the battery.
The ECU on 1988-1991 Honda CRX cars is located under the carpet at the passenger's feet. Four bolts hold a metal panel covering the ECU.
