There are three on each side, and two on the back of the block.

The are located under the coil packs. You can barely see the end of the plugs when you remove the pack.
To change spark plugs on a 5.9 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, locate the old spark plugs. These are located at the end of the 8 wires inside the vehicle's bonnet. Remove the old spark plugs and replace with new.
They are under the coils, which are located next to the injectors.
The plugs are located under the coils on top of the valve covers. You will need to remove the coils to access the 16 spark plugs.
Water pump, radiator, thermostat gasket, timing cover gasket, and freeze plugs are the most common.

there several places it can leak hoses,over flow box ,freeze plugs waterpump,headgaskets,weep hole in waterpump,radeator.
You either have to remove the transmission from engine or vice-versa. The engine block has freeze plugs in rear that rust out through time,( lack of antifreeze makes them rust out faster) try replaceing them with brass freeze plugs, there much better then metal. You will have to remove pressure plate, clutch, & flywheel to access freeze plugs.
