The Contour/Mystique radiator mounts from the bottom - find the brackets at each end held to the sub-frame with 2 10mm bolts per bracket.

Kind of a tough job due to the lack of room to access the various components attached to the radiator.

A couple of notes:

  • Automatic transmission lines are 17mm -
  • Cooling fan assembly attaches with 2 10mm nuts - lift up to release from clips and push towards the engine
  • Disconnect the air conditioning cooling unit from the radiator mounting brackets - use wire to hold it up in place while the radiator is out
  • Getting at the lower radiator hose is a real pain the posterior! Going to need one of those fancy hose clamp tools, or long-nose pliers or similar
  • Can hold the radiator up in place by sliding stiff wire through the 2 radiator locator-thingies sticking up through the top. You'll see what I mean when you look at it.
