on the back side, I find easier to replace from under the car as there is more space for your arm, and less likely to break your new plugs
I have the same engine in the 1993 Grand Am SE Coupe and it is a pain to get to. I believe that it is in between the engine and the firewall. I think that I saw it while I was changing my spark plugs. Just shine a light strait down where the cabin side spark plugs are located.

With a spark plug socket?!? There is nothing special with the GP engine. Be carefull pulling of the wires so you do not damage them. Also, the GP doesn't need new spark plugs until after 90,000+ miles. sho me any videos tha you mit have
Disconnect the battery, remove the spark plug cables and boot covers, and remove the old spark plugs. Properly dispose of the old spark plugs. Next, put in the new spark plugs, reattach the spark plug boot covers and spark plug cables and reconnect the battery.

You have bad spark plugs and or cap and rotor
