There are 5 10mm bolts on the assembly 3 on top 1 buy the sidemarker kinda under the bumper 1 on the bottom in the middle. I got it with out taking off the bumper I took the Battery out so I could see behind the housing i took the corner light and assembly off then 3 top bolts out and the side one then i came threw the side with like 5 extentions and got the last bolt. First you are going to need the following before you attempt to try the job. I just did this on my 01 sierra it isn't that bad. You are going to need the 03 bumper, 03 bumper cover, 03 bumper brackets they are all completely different, and the 03 grille( the 01 grille will fit but will look very goofy). you are going to leave the factory brackets on the frame. Then put the main center brackets on the bumper its self and line up the brackets with the frame and mark spots where you are going to drill holes. Then hook bumper cover to bumper and hook it all up. What i did was go to a car lot that had a 03-06 sierra and took pictures of how the brackets were faced and what length bolts you are going to need to buy. Have fun!!!

Depends on the year. but the 95-99 you have to drop the front bumper cove off and there are a few bolts holding it in and do not forget to undo the bulbs and do not touch them, if you do whipe them off before you put them back in. and if this doesnt solve anything. buy the eclipse,eagle talon breakdown book. costly but helps in the long run... I have a 99 GST and I have changed both headlights and did not need to remove the bumper cover. theres (1) electical harness and I did have to pull the signal out of the old light assembly to remove it for the new I believe there were 4 bolts in each light.
