You can get replacement coolant hoses for a 2005 Saturn Ion at several locations. Local auto parts stores like AutoZone, O'Reilly Auto Parts, or Napa Auto Parts typically carry such parts. Additionally, you can check online retailers such as RockAuto or Amazon, or visit a Saturn dealership for OEM parts. Always ensure to verify the part's compatibility with your specific vehicle model.
You can drain coolant from 2005 Equinox by removing lower radiator hose on passenger side of vehicle. This will not remove all coolant from vehicle but will be adequate for a coolant flush.
Should be in a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose
The thermostat in a 2005 Saturn Relay is located in the engine compartment, specifically at the end of the upper radiator hose where it connects to the engine. To access it, you'll need to remove the upper radiator hose and the thermostat housing, which is typically secured by bolts. Make sure to allow the engine to cool before attempting to replace the thermostat to avoid burns from hot coolant.
Follow the radiator hose to the block on the drivers side. It will be clamped to a hose connection where the t-stat is. Right next to that connection on the right is the PCM coolant temp sensor.
I think you may be referring to coolant leaking from engine? engine coolant or water can leak from any coolant hose or heater hose, waterpump, thermostat housing etc, wurse case the head gasket is leaking coolant externally, need a pro to check it out
Loose hose clamp or fitting? Thermostat housing loose? Expands when gets hot
1 and the coolant temp sensor is located in the head under the upper rad hose
Look for the leak. See saturnfans.com for more info
drain out coolant to a point were hose is clear, remove hose then replace, add coolant to bring up to normal level...will loose a bit of coolant but not much!!
Yes, but if you don't drain it down below the level of the upper hose coolant will run everywhere when you remove the hose.
Where can I find the entire PCV hose on the E200 Kompressor 2005
The coolant temperature sensor is on the rear of the engine, towards the top near the air intake hose. Move the air intake hose and you will see a single wire connector going to small sensor. The CTS is located on the block on the cylinder 4 side of the motor.
