On the low side port charging connection, not the high side. The low side is the larger diameter a/c line. It has a black cap on it and should be on the passenger side near the firewall, connecting to the expansion valve. When you have the charging kit hooked up, start the car and turn a/c to high. The kit comes with a gauge to tell you when it's full but only works if your compressor is working. You will hear a loud click when you turn on the a/c that lets you know it is engaged.
